Body Contouring

If you’re looking to tighten your skin, eliminate fat, and reshape your body, then body contouring can be a great solution. Body contouring, also known as body sculpting, is a non-surgical option that uses cold, heat, laser, and other methods to target fat and other specific cells within the body. At Cosmetic SA, we perform body contouring through personalised treatments which include the following therapy:

Tesla Reformer

Our body contouring treatments are performed with the Tesla Former. This high-end technology uses Functional Magnetic Stimulation FMS to help with muscle strengthening on areas of glutes, abdomen, hamstring area, arms and pelvic floor. Through a pulsed magnetic field, the Tesla Reformer contracts the muscle to increase its mass overtime. Lasting 30 minutes, this type of treatment is ideal if you’re looking to reduce excess fat and tone your body.

Some questions we get asked

Are there side effects linked to cosmetic treatments?

Side effects are a possibility with cosmetic treatments and often come down to a combination of things, whether that’s the product used, the provider’s preference, and your skin nuances. Common side effects may include swelling and bruising for 2-3 days depending on your treatment. Through a first consultation, our cosmetic doctor will walk you through the procedure, pre and post care protocol, as well as any potential side effects.

What if I am running late for my appointment?

If you are late, this may impact the length of your appointment. Please contact reception if you anticipate that you will be late for your appointment.

What should I wear to my appointment?

If you are coming for a skin check, please wear loose fitting clothing that is easy to undress for us to monitor your complete skin. We also ask that you come with no makeup or remove it before your appointment with wipes. It is not required to shower before your appointment.

Should I wear makeup to my appointment?

If you are coming for a skin check it is important you remove all make up/face creams before you arrive or use the wipes at our reception. Our skin checks will involve you removing all the clothing you are comfortable with and will involve a female nurse escort if you are examined by a male doctor.

Will photographs be taken at my appointment?

Clinical photography allows us to monitor, assess and plan your treatment plans accordingly. Images will be taken at each appointment with your consent. Lesions will sometimes be photographed for surveillance with your consent.
